Two Minneapolis coffee shops were robbed on Thursday night. The break-in at Rick's Coffee Bar involved a smashed window and stolen cash. As a result, the business is currently operating on a card-only system.

Crema's Coffee was also targeted, but by Friday they had resumed normal operations, albeit with a plan to close early on Saturday. On the day after the robbery, Crema's sold their products outside the shop. Minneapolis City Council member Aurin Chowdhury is urging residents to support the affected businesses.
