Minneapolis' signature summer civic celebration, held since 1940 during the third full week of July, featuring the Torchlight Parade, fireworks, milk-carton boat races, and free events across the city. Held at Downtown Minneapolis, Mississippi riverfront, Bde Maka Ska and city parks.

A long-running juried fine-art festival, recently reimagined as 'Art on the Isles,' showcasing roughly 300 gallery-quality artists over a weekend in early August. Held at Lake of the Isles / Uptown area, Minneapolis.

A series of car-free street festivals that close major neighborhood corridors to traffic for music, vendors, games, and biking and walking, held on weekends in September and early October. Held at Rotating Minneapolis corridors (e.g., West Broadway, Nicollet, Hennepin, Lyndale avenues).
