Drier and cooler air has moved into the Minneapolis area following morning rain and storms. A cold front passed through the state overnight, bringing northwesterly winds that are ushering in this cooler air. The clouds are expected to clear from west to east, making way for ample sunshine.

High temperatures for the afternoon will be below normal, reaching only the mid 70's. Further details on the forecast, including dewpoints and humidity levels, are available from KSTP 5 Eyewitness News.
