A pilot's medical issue prompted a Delta Air Lines flight to turn around mid-flight. The plane, a Boeing 757-300, was headed to Orlando with 178 passengers and seven crew members. It took off at 11:29 a.m. and landed back at its departure airport just 19 minutes later.

The crew followed procedures to ensure a safe return. Delta stated that safety is a top priority and the airline is supporting the pilot and helping customers with onward travel.

Further details about the incident are available from Delta. The flight resumed service later that day, at 1:30 p.m.
